If you like nice sounds and pictures, you’ve come to the right place.
This blog is about photography and music, two arts I feel I can express myself best in and which I enjoy most. I’m just sharing my interests in a format which merges an aesthetically pleasing environment and my favourite musical works all in one space.
Since I got my first camera in 2012, I’ve been trying my hand at photography and tend to have a preference for nature shots, which I feel are less intrusive and focus more on colours and composition.
Music-wise, I’m an undergraduate music student and I have a particular interest in musicology- the study of music in history and how history affects/ is affected by music, particularly war and conflict. The idea is that with each post will come with a piece of music I may have recently discovered or always loved and share some of my thoughts. My musical tastes are quite broad, from early Renaissance polyphony to Jazz, passing by the Variété Française of the 40s all the way to the 80s.
Hopefully you enjoy my website and if not, maybe you’ll at least have heard something new.
